What Makes Nirvana Spa Special
As soon as you walk into the Nirvana spa’s front desk, you’ll feel a calm and friendly environment. I couldn’t take my eyes off how beautiful the spa’s interiors are.
The spa’s lovely staff—to be honest, I thought we would feel out of place or get bad service at such a fancy place, but to my surprise, we didn’t. We were welcomed and ran through the rules, the usual check-in stuff. The calm lighting and atmosphere make guests feel at home.
Why Nirvana Spa stands out?
- Spacious but Cosy: The spa is big and doesn’t feel crowded, even though it’s busy. There is room for 100 people in the Colosseum Suite alone, which has two floors. However, the guests are spread out, making it feel more cosy than crowded.
- Variety of Treatments: Nirvana Spa has a range of relaxing treatments to suit your needs, from basic massages to full-body detoxes.
- Luxurious Ambience: The spa’s state-of-the-art facilities, comfortable spa lounging chairs, peaceful atmosphere, and light scent of essential oils in the air are just a few of the things that make this place feel rich. The attention to detail here is spot-on—except for the robes; they need to get new ones as they are worn out.
The Spa Packages
Although Nirvana Spa has many services and treatments “designed with you in mind” to make sure you have a “day of easy relaxation, a catch-up with a special someone, or luxurious pampering.”
Please make sure you pick the right package for you and your budget. Also, read very carefully what each package includes to ensure a perfect experience.
Here are some of Nirvana Spa’s deals. The best part is that you can choose your own treatment or add an extra to one you’ve already booked, but it will cost you extra.
- Time Out: As the name suggests, it’s timed for three hours between 9 AM and 7 PM. This is arguably the most affordable choice, costing less than £100.
- Simply Relaxation: Light meals and endless soft and hot drinks are included. The price can be expensive or cheap depending on the day and time of the week you choose. It was easy for us to fit the Simply Relaxation Day package into our schedule, and it was also handy. We didn’t want to spend the day at the spa on my husband’s birthday, even if we could.
- Serene Relaxation: Similar to the Simply Relaxation package, except it contains a specific treatment that would cost extra and is pricey.
- Radiant Relaxation: It’s also like the last two packages, but it comes with a facial treatment.
Budget-Friendly Nirvana Spa Packages
There are affordable ways to enjoy Nirvana Spa’s luxury experience. Consider these cheaper Nirvana Spa Wokingham UK prices:
- Evening Spa Package: The evening spa deals, which start at about £70, are a better choice for people on a budget. They also provide affordable day packages with treatments and pool access. For affordable luxury spa days.
- Midweek Offers: Nirvana Spa often has deals for people who go during the week, which can lower the price by a lot. These deals are usually good for spa treatments and other services, giving people a chance to unwind and feel better during the middle of the week. I recommend contacting them directly for the latest midweek offers.
Practical Tips for First-Time Visitors
Quick Tips Before You Go to the Spa.
Reasons You Need to Visit Nirvana Spa Wokingham, UK
1. World-Class Spa Facilities
Even though Nirvana Spa in Wokingham, UK, costs more than a regular spa, the experience is worth it.
From the hydrotherapy suites (my favourite) to the Dead Sea Salt Pool, Nirvana Spa provides a unique, state-of-the-art setting for complete relaxation.
Imagine soaking and relaxing your body in a huge thermal pool with mineral-rich water to relieve stress and aches. I remember leaning on the pool edge and letting the pressurised water massage my entire body—an unforgettable feeling!
My time in Nirvana Spa’s hydrotherapy pool was truly rejuvenating, and I’m not exaggerating. Especially considering I endure a weekly existential crisis over my life and work (as of the time of writing 2024). Typical Millennial issues, I needed the spa visit too.
2. Holistic Treatments and Therapies
One of the reasons Nirvana Spa is a popular weekend destination in England is its vast range of wellness therapies.
They have professional therapists who will make sure you leave feeling completely refreshed, whether you choose a deep tissue massage, a facial, or a personalised skin treatment.
We didn’t need much care for our visit, though. We were happy with everything that came with our package; it was just what we needed—simple relaxation—and we felt it regardless of the crowds—perhaps visiting on weekdays helped.
3. Relaxing and Inviting Atmosphere
The spa’s stylish rooms, soft lighting, and quiet atmosphere make it a haven for guests.
With its relaxing spa smells and peaceful setting, it’s one of the most peaceful places in England to go on a wellness getaway.
The atmosphere relaxes you whether you’re relaxing by the pool (at the Colosseum suite, Roman pool, or gorgeous spa gardens) or in the relaxation rooms.
4. Nice Dining Options
Going to Nirvana Spa isn’t just about getting therapy; it’s also about taking care of your body and mind. As part of your wellness path, the restaurant serves healthy food.
This makes it one of the best places to spend the weekend in England if you want to relax your mind and body. Expect plant-based, gluten-free, and healthful meals that boost well-being.
My general honest opinion of food was quite good for a spa that welcomes a lot of people every day—perhaps adding a few more selections would be beneficial.
Frequently Asked Question on Visiting Nirvana Spa
Q. What Do You Need to Bring to Nirvana, Spa?
A. You won’t need to bring much because you’re only going to Nirvana Spa. However, here are the essentials for a truly peaceful spa day:
- Flipflops: Nirvana Spa provides robes and towels but not flip-flops. I didn’t even know about them or ask for them when we checked in because I brought my own since I knew I was going to a spa. Please bring flip-flops in any style to avoid going barefoot around the spa grounds. They don’t need to be fancy, I brought my H&M everyday flip-flops.
- Swimwear: to wear while using their facilities. I think you need swimwear to enter the facilities. This is why they have robes and towels for people to use if they don’t feel comfy or like walking around in their swimwear.
- A book or kindle: with such a peaceful setting, you definitely need to pack your favourite book.
- Noise-cancellation headphones: to help you unwind without noise. (This one works for me.)
- Camera or phone: to capture all your memories in one of the most luxurious spas in England (quite essential for fellow travel bloggers.)
- Personal care cleansing products: ideal for post-spa cleanup. While Nirvana provides its shampoo, if you’re like me, I like to use shampoo that is good for my hair. I promise you that after using the Dead Sea Salt Pool, you will need to rinse off all of the salt from your body because it is so concentrated. Oh, and don’t go into the sea salt pool if you have recently shaven.
- Snacks: Ideal for munching by the pool and waiting to eat at the spa restaurant. This will also help prevent some “surprised charges at the end of your spa day.”
A Final Thought on Nirvana, Spa
Overall, our visit to Nirvana Spa was nothing but relaxing. We left feeling truly refreshed and re-energised, thanks to the wonderful staff and world-class spa facilities.
For us, it was a lovely spa and a nice way to spend a few hours celebrating hubby’s birthday.
And while you’re soaking in the serenity, remember to leave your worries—and your phone—behind. (Okay, maybe just one photo!) In any case, I hope you’ve been inspired to visit Nirvana Spa!
