What can you expect to find here?

The Adventures with Jane website aims to encourage and inspire ordinary people, particularly Africans, to travel the world and find the freedom to learn, grow, and discover as much as possible.

This blog will provide you with the best places to visit around the globe and travel tips and recommendations.

I’m here to encourage people to try new things, live their best lives through travel, and give them the tools they need to succeed.

With the increasing influence of social media and its idealised view of travel, I sometimes wish I’d had a more practical, genuine, and inspiring set of resources to encourage me to see the world sooner.

I now make these to show others that it is possible to travel without breaking the bank, spending all your life savings, or relying on inheritance funds, and to see beyond your 9-to-5 job in an attainable and enjoyable manner.

This blog focuses on inspiring your trips, providing travel planning guidance, and teaching individuals who wish to set up a blog that might become an online business.

You are welcome to follow along with all of my journeys and adventures as I slowly explore the world one destination at a time on my Instagram, and if you stumble upon this page, be sure to say hello! I love to connect and meet like-minded people.

What you won’t find here?

Adventures with Jane is NOT a travel blog that focuses solely on Luxury travel and exceptionally beautiful destinations. I apologise in advance if you were hoping for recommendations for five-star hotels and restaurants in the Seychelles or Bali.

This might not be the right place for you. Given that we cannot all be born rich and only experience the beauty of travel solely on luxury travel, this blog was made to ensure that even the most modest of budgets can afford a trip.

My curiosity about the world and my desire to learn and grow through firsthand experience drive my passion for travel.

I enjoy exploring both well-known locations or major attractions and undiscovered, off-the-beaten-path locations when I travel.

I want to share all of that with you as my reader, and I hope that it motivates you to travel the world, even if you don’t have anyone to go with.

Please don’t let that fact stop you from experiencing the world.
